Corderie Royale - Rochefort.  Exploring some French naval history on the first day of our New Year break and exploring Rochefort following my request 'to do something we haven't done before'.

So hot here at the moment it is best to leave bike rides until the evening. We cycled out from Port Maubert at 6:00pm yesterday and were rewarded with some lovely wildlife.

Another lovely walk out from Saujon to see the storks again this year. We saw them being weighed and ringed.
